This city might also ring a bell! Sleepy Hollow is known as the setting of Washington Irving’s “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow” short story. If the words “headless” and “horsemen” scare you, you’re not alone! The villain in Irving’s story is known as a headless rider that terrorizes Sleepy Hollow. Believe it or not, tales of this horseman can be traced back all the way to the Middle Ages. Yep, you heard that right! Buena Park becomes “Boo-uena Park'' for autumn, and it does not disappoint. Walk over to Knott’s Scary Farm Amusement Park to ride the transformed roller coasters and visit creepy mazes. Explore a haunted house, pick up pumpkins, and eat dinner at themed restaurants! This is a great option if you have kiddos coming along with you this year.
